This is a Quick & Easy Method of टोमॅटो रसम or Charu Saaru Recipe In Marathi by Smita Deo. <br />Make this Authentic South Indian Style Rasam recipe at home and share your experience with us in the comments section below. <br /> <br />Ingredients:- <br />7 tomatoes <br />3 tbsp Toor dal <br />3 tbsp rasam powder <br />3 tbsp thick tamarind paste <br />1 tsp rai <br />1 tbsp ghee <br />Few curry leaves <br />½ tsp cardamom <br />½ cup fresh coriander chopped <br />Salt to taste <br /> <br /> <br />Method:- <br />- Wash and chop the tomatoes really fine. <br />- Wash the dal as well. <br />- In a pressure cooker add the tomatoes, the dal and 1 litre of water and pressure cook for 20 minutes. <br />- Once the pressure has released remove the lid and with the hand blender mash the cooked tomatoes and the dal. <br />- Add the rasam powder, tamarind pulp and the salt and bring to a boil for about 10 min on a low flame. <br />- Add the curry leaves and the coriander leaves. <br />- Heat ghee and splutter the rai in it. Then add the hing and pour this on the rasam and serve piping hot. <br /> <br />This tangy hot rasam is great to taste serves 5 people. <br />HAPPY COOKING!
